Ministry of Economic Development signed agreements with 10 Diving Centers on 19th May 2022, to conduct upskilling and training programs as part of the COVID-19 Income Support Project through jobcenter.mv
The upskilling and training programs aim to increase employability through training for individuals who were impacted by COVID-19 pandemic.
Under this initiative, eligible individuals will get the opportunity to complete Open Water to Dive Master Course and Open Water Scuba Instructor Course (OWSI) fully-funded by the Government.
The training providers are:

- Waterproof Sports Maldives Pvt Ltd (Dive Point Guraidhoo)
- Ocean Junkies
- Dive Club Maldives Private Limited
- Divers Lodge Maldives
- Dive Desk Pvt Ltd
- Naifaru Scuba Center
- Passions Paradives Pvt Ltd.
- Villa College
- Ocean Warriors Dive Institute
