As the essential food items are available at different prices, and in some instances, there is a big variation between the prices from different shops, the objective of this program is to inform the public through the media and the ministry website, on the lowest prices that are available in the market for the specified product, and from where they can be obtained from.

Participation in the program by the traders are through registration specifically for the program and registration is now open to all, from Male’ as well as from the atolls.

Registration forms can be downloaded from the ministry website and can be obtained from the Ministry counter as well.
